About us
Familink turns your family's photos and news into a paper gazette, printed and mailed to grandparents every month — without asking them for a screen, an app, or a password.
It all began with a simple observation: in many families, grandparents live far from screens. No smartphone, no social media, no endless feed of photos. And yet they are often the ones who would most love to follow the lives of their children and grandchildren.
Our mission
We want to bring generations closer without asking anyone to change their habits. Children and grandchildren share their photos and news from their phones, just as they already do every day. On our side, we turn those moments into a printed family gazette, mailed every month.
How it works
Everything rests on the contributors — the family members who have a phone. They send their photos by email or from the app, add a few words, and that's it. Familink lays out, prints and ships the gazette. The grandparent who receives it has nothing to install, nothing to click, nothing to learn: they simply find a beautiful family newspaper in their mailbox.
What we believe in
- Simplicity. A paper object — readable, warm, and requiring no technical skill at all.
- Respect for the recipient. No app to download, no notifications, no screen. The technology stays on our side, never on theirs.
- Privacy. A family's photos and messages belong to that family alone. We host and print them on its behalf, nothing more.
Who it's for
Familink is first and foremost for families with a grandparent who lives without a smartphone and whom we'd love to keep at the heart of family life. If that's you, you're in the right place.
